The Legend of Hei (Chinese: 罗小黑战记大电影) is a 2019 animated film prequel to the animated series, The Legend of Luo Xiaohei. It details various events in the life of the cat spirit Luo Xiaohei, which take place before the series.
Synopsis: When humans deforest cat spirit Luo Xiaohei’s home, he must find a new one. He runs into a group of other spirit creatures who take him under their wing with dreams of reconquering the land they say is rightfully theirs. However, they encounter a human known as Wuxian, who separates Luo Xiaohei from the other spirits. The two then embark on a journey, with the cat spirit learning to control his abilities while forming his own thoughts on whether he should ally with the spirits or the humans.
